F-117A Vega-31

Hi everyone, welcome back...

This model represents one of the most interesting jet bombers of all time, the stealthy F-117.
It depicts an example shot down during the 1999 NATO bombing of Serbia (then SR Yugoslavia). It's code name was Vega-31. Everything is known more or less about the incident, I won't get into it, you can read more about it on  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_F-117A_shootdown

It is a 1:48 Tamiya kit + CMK bomb bay and a resin seat by Quikboost. Although the kit is basically constructed of two fuselage halves, the construction wasn't that easy, as the resin bomb bay was tricky to handle. I didn't want a dirty look for it so it is made quite clean. I really don't know much about the AC type and it's armament, so the authenticity is questionable. Well hope you like it anyway...

MiG-29 9-13 VVS, 14 GIAP, bort 24

Gentlemen,

After a few years of dodging it and putting it aside as half done, this project is finally realized.
The start of this dates before the release of the excellent GWH 9-13 Fulcrum, so this is a chapter for history.

The serial of the AC is unknown, it belonged to the 14th Guardian Fighter Regiment of the Russian AF based on Khalino airfield. It carried a standard 9-13 camouflague. On both parts of the front fuselage dark green spots were painted. Guardian badge and Kusrsk city emblem are placed atop them..On some photos I found it appears to have missing the front landing gear mud guard...

This is the Academy plastic, the best Fulcrum for many years until the release of the GWH.
I've used many aftermarket for this one: Neomega spine, wingtips, cockpit and seat, Aires wheel wells and exhausts, quicboost nose and pitot and the excellent Fru Fru R-27R. The 4x R-60 are from the Eduard's MiG-21 kit.

MiG-21PFM JRViPVO 22719

Hi everyone

Off course it's a MiG-21
Codename L-14 - the PFM variant in SFR Yugoslav markings.
It is painted in experimental camouflage of green, grey and light blue as some other aircraft in service back then. It wasn't long until the plane was returned to overall natural metal finish.
In the 70's the aircraft was a part of 117th fighter regiment located at the infamous underground AF airbase Željava in Bihać.

No need to get into the build details as this kit already became a routine. It's a good kit of one of my favorite aircraft, that's why I can never get enough of it.

I might have missed the cockpit color as the PFMs still had cockpits painted in grey but after some overhaul they received the new turquoise color. Actually the Eduard kit gives you no choice but to paint it in turquoise, either with pre-painted PE or printed decals. If you decide not to choose between those two, you end up with no sidewall details and a lot of work on the instrument panel...well, it a nice excuse at least.
This PFM is loaded with two R-3S missiles on the under wing pylons.

L-29 Delfin SyAAF #130

Hello gentlemen.

Back after some time, once again with something shiny, the beautiful Czechoslovakian made Aero L-29 Delfin in Syrian livery.
This was a special build, dedicated to a friend and a fellow blogger R.S @ Luftwaffe A.S. He will eventually present all the details regarding the type and use with SyAAF along with the photos of operational aircraft...
For the build progress please check this post @ Britmodeller

It is an AMK kit with Eduard PE interior and the decals are leftovers and scrapped from other kits.
